Watch Melbourne Grand Prix

The Australian GP, from Albert Park in Melbourne, is one of the more popular races for F1 drivers and it is the now traditional start of the Formula 1 season.

The street course can be a tricky one for all teams and drivers but with it been the first race of the season, Melbourne can be one of the most unpredictable races of the season and that often leads to exciting action that is simply a must watch.

What Can We Watch?

You can watch all of the key action from each and every race weekend including all 3 practise sessions, qualifying and of course the actual race itself live.

Australian Grand Prix

The Australian Grand Prix is the second oldest race to survive in Australia, after an Alpine Rally, with the event been held since it was first ran back in 1928, when the race took place at Philip Island.

Before joining the Formula 1 World Championship, the race moved around a number of venues across each state of Australia and it also took place as a round of the Australian Drivers Championship and as a part of the Tasman Series.

Since joining the Formula 1 World Championship in 1985, the Australian GP has only taking place at 2 venues, with the race starting at the Adelaide Street Circuit before moving to the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit in 1996.

Ever since moving to Melbourne, the race has become the known as the start of the Formula 1 season after been the final round of the season when hosted in Adelaide.

The current location for the race is Albert Park in Melbourne, which is a public park with the racing happening on public streets but the track still features some run off areas and some straights to allow for a decent race whilst still been demanding on the racers and not allowing for even small mistakes.
