Watch Snooker Shoot-Out
The Snooker Shoot-Out is a professional ranking Snooker tournament and the great news for all fans is that you can watch all of the action live online via our Snooker live streaming partners.
The Snooker Shoot-Out was first held in 1990 but it wasn’t until 2007 when the event became a ranking tournament.
The tournament is different to most other Snooker events as it is a one frame shoot out after a random draw. That has seen the event draw comparisons with 20/20 Cricket and whilst the event isn’t for anybody, it can lead to some great fast action Snooker.
The tournament has a lot of similarities to pool, with players lagging for the break and with at least 1 ball having to hit a cushion. There is a shot clock and a frame can last a maximum of 10 minutes.
All fouls result in ball in hand instead of the usual playing the ball where it lands or playing from behind the baulk line for potted white balls.

Shoot Out Snooker
The Snooker Shoot-Out or Shoot Out Snooker as it often gets referred to, is a tournament that is enigmatic in nature as not only does it offer different rules from most other tournaments but it is also an event that is both new and old and one that has undergone lots of changes throughout its history to almost all aspects of it.
The first ever edition of the tournament happened as a one off event that was hosted by Trentham Gardens on the outskirts of the city of Stoke-on-Trent in the Midlands.
This edition of the tournament saw Darren Morgan of Wales defeated Mike Hallett by just 2- frames to 1 to pick up the inaugural title but for that version, the tournament was a non-ranking event and failed to draw all of the top stars to the Potteries.
After that initial running of the event, the Shoot-Out disappeared for over 2 decades as it was not until the 2010-2011 season when the changes to the tour brought about a host of new and returning tournaments including the Snooker Shoot Out.
Whilst the tournament remained a non-ranking event, the tournament did take on the look and feel of todays event as the action was fast and furious with the winner and loser decided over just a single frame.
For the first 5 editions of the returning event, between 2011 to 2015, the tournament took place at the iconic Circus Arena, located in Blackpool Tower, in the seaside holiday resort of Blackpool in the North West of England.
The inaugural winner of the re-booted tournament was Nigel Bond who defeated Robert Milkins by 62 points to 23 in an all English final.
The other winners in Blackpool were Barry Hawkins (who defeated Graeme Dott by 61 points to 23), Martin Gould (who defeated Mark Allen by 104 points to 0), Dominic Dale (who defeated Stuart Bingham by 77 points to 19) and Michael White (who defeat Xiao Guodong by 54 points to 48).
The 2016 edition remained a non-ranking event but moved from Lancashire to Berkshire when the Hexagon Theatre in Reading hosted the tournament which featured an all European final when Robin Hull of Finland defeated Luca Brecel of Belgium by 50 points to 36.
The 2017 saw the tournament move up to a ranking level event and also saw the action move to the Watford Colosseum, as you would expect in the Hertfordshire town of Watford.
It was Anthony McGill of Scotland who won the inaugural Watford ranking event by defeating Xiao Guodong by 67 points to 19.
Other winners of the tournament as a ranking event include Michael Georgiou of Cyprus (who defeated Graeme Dott by 67 points to 56), Thepchaiya Un-Nooh of Thailand (who defeated Michael Holt by 74 points to 0), Michael Holt (who defeated Zhou Yuelong) by 64 points to 1) and Ryan Day (who defeated Mark Selby by 67 points to 24).
With tournaments or qualifying happening around the world on a weekly basis throughout the season, it may be great for ardent fans that you can watch Snooker whenever you want to watch but for more casual fans it can perhaps be too much of a good thing.
If you like to watch the biggest events on the tour but not the smaller events, this could be the perfect event for you to add to your Snooker watching as not only is the action fast placed and the tournament over with quickly but the action also offers something different for fans.
No matter if you are simply wanting to watch the players paly under the pressure of having to win every frame that they play or if you love to watch as much Snooker action as you can do, the great news for all fans is that it has never been easier to watch events such as this live online.
If you are a Snooker fan you will likely know that it can be a frustrating experience to watch the sport live on television as even if the event is chosen for coverage, it is often on difficult to watch channels or on pay tv stations and even then, only a limited number of matches will be chosen for coverage.
That can often mean fans miss out on the match that they are wanting to watch but no matter if you want to watch the tournament opener or the final, you can do.
The fantastic live streaming services of the online bookmakers featured on this page allow you to watch all of the action that you want to watch and whilst you will need to be aged 18 or over and have a funded account, you can then watch Snooker live from not just the Snooker Shoot-Out but from tournaments held around the world all season long.
