The ATP World Tour Finals differs from most over tennis tournaments in that it features a round robin stage where the 8 top players in the men’s rankings are divided into 2 groups of 4 and they then play against each of the competitors in their group.
The 2 players from each group then play in a semi-final with the winners of those meeting in the ATP World Tour Finals final.
The whole event including the men’s single and men’s double competition takes place in the same venue across 1 week of intense action.
With the tournament only featuring the very best players and ben the finale to the tennis season, the ATP World Tour Finals often produces some of the best tennis action of any tournament but until recently it could be difficult to watch all of the action live.
