The Huddersfield Giants are one of the oldest Rugby clubs of either code in the world with a history dating all of the way back to 1864. The Huddersfield Giants are located in the university town of Huddersfield in the Kirklees district of West Yorkshire and it is of course the birthplace of the sport of Rugby League after a group of Northern based Rugby teams decided to break away and form their own version of Rugby at the iconic George Hotel in 1895.

The team are easily recognisable when out on the playing field thanks to the club colours of Claret and Gold.

Whilst the layout and design of the home strip changes almost on a yearly basis, the kit is normally predominantly claret with gold hoops whilst the away kit varies in design and colour.
