Watch Masters Tennis
The ATP Masters tournaments, formerly known as the ATP Masters Series, are the highest ranked and arguably most prestigious tournament to be held on the men’s ATP Tour.
Some of the tournaments are for the ATP Tour only whilst some are combined events with the women’s WTA Tour, but no matter who or what is on offer, the great news is that you can watch along live.
The Masters events have been held around the world, with at least 1 tournament in each continent of Europe, Asia, and North America since the start of the ATP Tour in 1990 and from there the tournaments have continued to improve and now all but rival the 4 Grand Slams in terms of the quality of the field, the stadiums the matches take place in, the crowds on offer and the prize funds available.
That, as well as massive ranking points, mean that all of the biggest stars from the men’s tennis world tour will likely be in attendance, barring injury, at each of the events.
Over the years the series of top level tournaments on the ATP Tour have undergone a number of changes of names, location and numbers including the following names for the series.
Between 1990-1995, the tournament was known simply as the ATP Championship Series and took place over a single week.
Between 1996-1999 the group of events became known as the ATP Super 9.
The next name change came at the turn of the Millennium with the now Masters tournaments known as the Tennis Masters Series between 2000-2003. In 2004, the tennis part of the title was changed to ATP to give the title ATP Masters Series until 2008.
The name was then changed to ATP World Tour Masters 1000 before changing to the now used ATP Tour Masters 1000 in 2019.
All of the tournaments that make up the Masters level events feature both a singles and doubles event, both of which can be watch live no matter if you want to watch the biggest star or the lowest ranked player or duo, you can do as all of the great tennis live streaming services that we feature on this page allow you to pick and choose the action that you want to watch.
